Trip Track #7 "Black Hills of South Dakota"

While I was riding the 1880's train a few summers ago. I was able to get a great view of Harney Peak which happens to be the highest point in South Dakota.

Trip Track #6 My trip to Southern Japan

During the Summer of 2010, I had the chance to visit Southern Japan. We went to a place known for its hot spas and also the active volcanoes that still exsit in this area. Our trip included a visit to the Northeast corner of Kyshu Japan. This image below came from one of those volcanoes.

Enjoy and Happy traveling!!

Weathergeek.net Trip Track #5 Outdoor Adventures

Good Afternoon,

This blog is about heading out to the great outdoors and how to enjoy the "Fall Colors". As you may know this is the best time of the year to watch the leaves change colors. Also the weather usually starts to be a little bit cooler and makes for a great time to enjoy the outdoors.

Why not take the family out for a picnic at the lake or even try to get one more outdoor camping trip in before it gets to cold. Or if you have a 4-wheeler in the family this would be an excellent time to load that up and take it to the lake and ride along the lake watching the leaves or just getting some fresh air.

Need to do some tuning up on the 4-wheeler before taking it out or just looking for atv parts. It is very important to get that 4-wheeler ready for the winter season or just get it tuned up before going on a long ride.

Well Enjoy the fall colors!!

SAD in Texas

Guest written by our friend Katie Callahan
Weather definitely plays a big part in my life, mostly because I have SAD. It stands for Seasonal Affective Disorder and it occurs when someone has a hard time adjusting to a lack of sunlight, etc. Texas is a great place to live, thankfully, when you have SAD because so much of the time it’s sunny here. I love summer most of all because aside from the stray rain storm it’s generally pretty nice here. I had to get a really nice AC system when I moved here and I also went to texaselectricityproviders.com to make sure I was getting the best deal and I think it’s all worked itself out to keep me cool and comfortable in my own home. I’m not sick or anything but I just seem to get depressed when the weather gets bad but hey, who doesn’t? At least we live somewhere that it’s nice most of the time and get to be outdoors so many months a year! At least when I’m in the sun I get to have some Vitamin D!
