SAD in Texas

Guest written by our friend Katie Callahan
Weather definitely plays a big part in my life, mostly because I have SAD. It stands for Seasonal Affective Disorder and it occurs when someone has a hard time adjusting to a lack of sunlight, etc. Texas is a great place to live, thankfully, when you have SAD because so much of the time it’s sunny here. I love summer most of all because aside from the stray rain storm it’s generally pretty nice here. I had to get a really nice AC system when I moved here and I also went to texaselectricityproviders.com to make sure I was getting the best deal and I think it’s all worked itself out to keep me cool and comfortable in my own home. I’m not sick or anything but I just seem to get depressed when the weather gets bad but hey, who doesn’t? At least we live somewhere that it’s nice most of the time and get to be outdoors so many months a year! At least when I’m in the sun I get to have some Vitamin D!

Weathergeeks Trip Tracks #1 Tokyo Japan

Welcome to Trip Tracks, our new blog to share the world with you.

TRIP TRACK #1:  Tokyo Japan

(Photo taken near the waterfront in Tokyo Japan)

Tokyo is not all buildings there are some nice parks to enjoy also as you can see above.

Dining and Lodging:

To fill the stomachs up after a long day of shopping or whatever the day was filled with then it’s time to set your eyes to the Roppongi district as it provides the most culture style meals from the local cuisine to western style food. Lodging in the new Roppongi Hills hotel is by far the luxury end of staying in town however there are lower cost places to stay but because Tokyo is a very large city it will cost to stay.
